Every first birthday is a big day to cherish. Its the first full year that one completes and its a big cause for celebration. We at Vijay Fans Network today successfully complete one full year of existence in this world of the Internet as the largest fans Network for actor 'Ilayathalapathy' Vijay.

We started our official journey from June 22nd when our site was made available to the worldwide fans of Vijay. It was not our first ever attempt, but our first official attempt where we had the backing of all the necessary people (Vijay, his dad and his Rasigar Mandram).

We also have the full fledged support of Vijay himself, and he has been instrumental in us getting the exclusive information and stills about him and his movies.

Our site was officially launched by the actor himself, Ilayathalapathy Vijay on the 20th of June at a Rasigar Mandram function (Check out our site launch video by Vijay here). The site was available to all on June 22nd. We were very well supported by everyone from the Rasigar Mandram and without their backing, we could never have reached this far. We got exclusive news about Vijay before anybody else, and we have been getting many exclusive stills of Vijay through the fans association.

We would like to thank actor Sreeman, a very close friend of Vijay for his tremendous support for our fans site! He had helped us in many ways to improve our website.  We also thank Vijay's PRO, Mr. PT Selvakumar, Nikhil Murugan, Venkat Ramanan and others for their support.

This future journey of VFN (as we're affectionately called) rests solely in the hands of you, the fans. We always will continue to rely on your ever growing support and we will constantly strive to better ourselves and we will also work towards the goal of making our site, the best ever website for an Indian celebrity!
