It has been a never ending story of celebrating the success of Pokkiri which has brought so much joy and happiness in the lives of all the people concerned with the movie.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay visited the Trichy district last saturday on April 7th to celebrate the mega success of Pokkiri in this particular district. Jinnah is the distributor of Pokkiri in Trichy district and he was responsible for arranging this mega function to celebrate the success of the movie. He had invited Vijay and  the producer of Pokkiri, Mr. Ramesh Babu who came there and joined in the function. Jinnah arranged the distribution of  computers for the top scoring students in the Pudhukottai district. He had arranged the function with the help of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Rasigar Mandram and made the function a highly successful event.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay looked really charming and highly enthusiastic throughout the function. All the fans gathered were ecstatic seeing their favorite hero, and crowd was uncontrollable. Vijay spoke at the function saying "This success brings with it more responsibility and I have to be very choosy for my upcoming films. Azhagiya Thamizh Magan will a special treat for all my fans, becoz we have used a new style and different concept for this movie."

At last he thanked everyone assembled for the function, and then left the place, leaving behind memories for all those who had come just to see him in this function
