As far as Tamil Cinema is concerned, there is one and only Superstar and that is, RAJINIKANTH! But here we are going to talk about the actors who are staking their claim to the throne of the "prince in heir" to that Superstar throne in Tamil Cinema which they will occupy after Rajini.

According to a recently held survey by Loyola College Students across TAMIL NADU, we will able to decipher public opinion on who they think is that "prince" who is next in line for the Superstar post. Since this survey was conducted to see who their favorite hero was, Rajini Sir still occupies the hearts of the people and is the Number one in this survey held across Tamil Nadu. But for this article, the rankings of the current generation of actors is what is going to be important for us

Here are the percentages accorded to each actor (starting from ascending and goes down to descending)

Rajinikanth - 15.6%

Vijay - 14.2%

Vijaykanth - 12.6%

Ajith - 11.1%

Kamalhaasan - 8.3%

So according to the survey held across Tamil Nadu, it becomes quite clear that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is expected to be the "Next Superstar" after Superstar Rajinikanth. The release of Pokkiri is expected to further confirm this fact among the movie goers that Vijay indeed is going to rule the hearts of our fans all over Tamil Nadu!
